Context & Rationale

Why this pillar is vital for our communities

Early and unintended pregnancies remain a leading driver of school dropouts among adolescent girls in rural Benin. Breaking persistent taboos and menstrual poverty, YFC leads a community-wide campaign: peer-led health education, reusable menstrual kit distribution, and emergency links to the National Women's Institute helpline (INF 138).

We break stigmas through high-impact grassroots campaigns, providing evidence-based knowledge to youth to protect their future and well-being.
