Field Actions & Operational Methodology
Each intervention pillar adheres to strict protocols of community participation, gender equity, and continuous monitoring.
Axis 1: Road Safety & First Aid
In response to severe youth road traffic casualties in Benin, YFC formed an alliance with the Police and CNSR. 17 specialized trainers held interactive simulations across 25 middle schools, high schools, and trade workshops, emphasizing certified helmet usage, speed limits, and emergency recovery positioning.
Axis 2: Positive Masculinity & GBV Prevention
In collaboration with UNFPA and the National Women Institute (INF), the program introduced the innovative 'Man Box' pedagogical framework at CEG Comè, CEG Ouinhi, and Collège Catholique de Comè. In-depth sessions addressed physical violence, sexual abuse, cyberbullying, and toxic stereotypes that hinder young girls' empowerment.
Axis 3: Community Peace & Conflict Prevention
In northern regions and rural zones, social cohesion and conflict prevention are vital. In Kandi, community peace dialogues brought together local leaders, traditional authorities, and youth. In Ouinhi and Kandi, these initiatives led to the establishment of two 'Pupilles de la Paix' clubs, engaging youth directly in mediation and harmony.
- Axis 1 • Road Safety: 17 police and CNSR officers trained youth on traffic laws, speeding risks, certified helmet usage, and emergency first aid techniques.
- Axis 2 • Positive Masculinity & GBV Prevention: Rollout with UNFPA and INF of the 'Man Box' pedagogical curriculum to challenge toxic stereotypes and combat school-based gender violence.
- Axis 3 • Community Peacebuilding: Tolerance dialogues and citizen roundtables in Ouinhi and Kandi, culminating in the establishment of 2 'Pupilles de la Paix' clubs for peaceful coexistence.
- Exemplary Financial Audit Trail: 100% justification of the 1,200,000 XOF state grant supported by attendance rosters and timestamped photographic records.
